Concepts & mockups

Ticketing concepts

Design concepts built for prospective clients: two venue redesigns, a regional ticket marketplace, and two versions of a MidiX outreach email. Everything below is a working page — click through, filter, and try the baskets.

Alpha Music España

Russian-language theatre and concerts touring Spain. Three directions for the same content.

Version A

Modern

Dark, poster-led, filter by city. Calm and straightforward.

Version C

Bold

The same idea pushed hard: oversized type, bento grid, draggable tour dates, hover effects. Best on a laptop.

Version B

Classic playbill

Light, serif, traditional — for an older audience. Set aside in favour of A and C.

Edinborgarhúsið & the Westfjords

Iceland. A venue site, plus a regional marketplace the venue would anchor. Icelandic by default — use the IS/EN switch at the top right.

Venue

Edinborgarhúsið

The house in Ísafjörður: programme, in-page ticket checkout, the three halls, the 1907 history, and a countdown to the sun's return.

Marketplace

fyrir vestan

Every event in the Westfjords in one place. Click a town on the map; one basket across venues.

Alpha Music newsletter — before / after

Their current season newsletter, and the same content rebuilt. Open both and compare how fast they load.

After · v4

New newsletter

Larger type for a 50+ audience, circled arrows on every city row, proper trailer buttons, Segoe UI / SF font stack.

Open →
After · v3

Previous step

One tile per show with every city inside it, calendar and location icons, date badges, trailer links. 470 KB in total.

Open →
After · v2

First draft

Season agenda at the top, one hero event, compact rows for the rest, trailer links, mobile-first. 444 KB in total.

Open →
Before

Current newsletter

Saved from their own system. Centred text, no hierarchy, 14 MB of images, 72 KB of HTML.

Open →

MidiX outreach email

Two designs for the same Icelandic copy. These open as web pages; in an inbox they render the same way.

Version 2

Glow

Neon edge, magenta light spill from the banner, gradient accents, lit button.

Open →
Version 1

Clean

The calmer version. Also what Outlook shows when it drops the glow effects.

Open →
Extras

Plain-text version

The text-only version that ships alongside the HTML mail. Logo files sit in the same folder.

A note for anyone reviewing these. They are design concepts, not live sites. Event listings and photos come from each venue's own public pages; anything marked “Sample” / “Sýnishorn” is illustrative, and all prices shown are placeholders.
